Standard and Miniature

Our Imports

It's always a bit of a risk to import new lines. You never know until it arrives exactly what you have bought. With all the best intentions in the world, things can still turn out to be not what was expected.

A lot of overseas breeders aren't  interested in sending dogs to Australia and they don't want their puppies going through the quarantine system.
To Carolyn Carroll of Mithril, Marita Nordin at Ice Illusions and Wendy Jelliman at Whitout, thank you for sending your dogs to me.

My first import was from Anita Bax. I am so grateful to her for sending me my gorgeous Lilly.
Lilly had a rough start from the beginning of her travels here as the crate she was in fell off the table at Heathrow. Anita was in tears as Lilly left. Lilly didn't like quarantine and was glad to get home.

The next time I imported I brought two in so they wouldn't have to handle quarantine alone, so we then had Jake and Pagen from Sweden.

Sweet little Abby came to join us from New Zealand and she started our mini apricot line.

Ruby was the next to arrive this time from America. She was mated prior to leaving and had a gorgeous litter soon after leaving quarantine.

Murphy arrived from Japan and by the time he arrived the time in quarantine had been reduced to 10 days.
Thank you Flare Star Kennels

Our latest addition is from Kennel Iz Volkhskoy Serenady in France.
Thank you Tatiana Chapiro-Yakimova for Cheri.

The English rose
Pictured with Gemma and pregnant with Kate when this photo was taken.
Such a pleasure to watch trotting around the garden, her affectionate nature has been passed down the line.
Loving to the end, and still missed

Jake and Pagen.

Two beautiful Browns from Sweden. This is how Pagen and Jake loved when they were young.
They were very dark in colour but at the age of 18 months suddenly faded and they have continued to fade.

Although disappointed at the time, I have come to enjoy their unusual silvery colour

Our New Zealand girl.

This photo is of her former life as a showgirl.
She is now retired and living as a princess with Marlene

The American

Ruby was born in Canada and raised in Texas

It took some time to get Miss Ruby here, and we are so grateful she gave us a wonderful litter to continue her lines.

She is retired and enjoying life with Linda in Castlemain.

Our boy from Japan.

Murphy is going to be a great asset to our apricot and red line.

All the way from France.

With a stunning world champion father and an exquisite mother, we look forward to great things from Cheri.

She will be an important part of our breeding program.
